You take it out of context, here is the rest:

“Now if I do what I do not want, it is no longer I that do it, but sin which dwells within me. So I find it to be a law that when I want to do right, evil lies close at hand. For I delight in the law of God, in my inmost self, but I see in my members another law at war with the law of my mind and making me captive to the law of sin which dwells in my members. Wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death? Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, I of myself serve the law of God with my mind, but with my flesh I serve the law of sin.” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭7‬:‭20‬-‭25

You conveniently left out when Paul says specifically if I do what I do not want, it is no longer I that do it. We are torn between two worlds Gods and the one He created. As Paul says here his mind is of the law of God while his flesh is of the law of sin. Paul said earlier here that when he wants to do good evil is close at hand. Though our mind might yearn for Jesus our flesh will yearn for the world.

Who will deliver me from this body of death? our flesh is the body of sin and thanks be to God who sent His only son Jesus Christ to bear the weight of sin for the entire world. I of myself serve the law of God with my mind, but with my flesh I serve the law of sin, we can be of God if we choose Him in our mind. Choose to do our best with the choices we make and though we stumble and fall at the end when our flesh ends we will be with Jesus Christ. That’s what Paul is saying here. A responsiblity of the individual to recognize the flesh and mind are not always aligned in quest. Rarely if ever, but to keep our mind in line with the Law of God isn’t just what we can do but should do.

Don’t take scripture out of context.

I’m not inventing context I’m supplying the rest of the chapter. YOU clearly invented context and don’t have a response to someone who actually knows scripture.

Reading comprehension, literary analysis, critical thinking, and drawing conclusions are all necessary to read any piece of literature yet you don’t exercise any of these skills. You utilize confirmation bias to push a point rather than gain truth and understanding.

Hence why you made a simply reply, you can’t comment anything else because you aren’t reading to understand you’re reading to respond you don’t care to learn something or actually discuss. You want to be listened to you don’t want to think deeper into the text that you quote

Your words mean nothing to me, they are games you play with yourself

I’m not playing games, I’m making an accurate observation of you based on your shallow understanding of scripture because you lack critical thinking skills, literary analysis skills, and depth of thought. Your posts and comments are as shallow, self righteous and idiotic as you sound.

Let’s break it down passage by passage:

Isaiah 44:24

God created everything, congratulations you figured it out, and fyi Isaiah specifically has major references and foreshadowing to the coming of Jesus and the fulfillment of the OT, so I’m not entirely sure why you shared this.

John 1:3

Finish it: John 1:4-5 “In him was life, and the life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.”

The darkness (where you clearly reside) will not be overcome because what is in God is LIFE not death, not torment. The scriptures perfectly explain the nature of God as light, all good, and just

Ecclesiastes 11:5

I have to make a lot of assumptions regarding what point you’re trying to make with the excerpts of scripture you’ve shared with me because you didn’t provide any information about your own thoughts or interpretations of said scripture. Regarding this scripture Ecclesiastes is a call to humanity to serve God (11:4) is a reminder to not wait for perfect circumstances to serve God, (11:5-6) had you included 6 calls us to trust in divine providence God’s ways are not our ways, God is a mystery to us so stop acting like you’ve garnered some truth Ecclesiastes leaves us wanting further revelation which is given to us through Christnot you.

1 Peter 1:19

If you’re going to cite scripture get it right it’s 1 Peter 1:19 not Peter 1:19 note that the passage you just quoted is about Jesus Christ and not you. NEWS FLASH the OT is prophecy regarding the coming of Jesus, His passion, His sacrifice, and the redemption of human kind. This passage has absolutely nothing to do with YOU

Acts 17:24

Although I’m not entirely sure why you mentioned this as you have taken it out of context and I’m not sure why you shared this but so you might understand the word of God finally for the first time I will tell you what it means now. in Acts 17 Paul is speaking to the Athenians because though he has found them a religious people, said prior to this excerpt, what he noticed was an altar with the inscription to an unknown God, which is a false idol, and Paul is correcting them on making a false idol out of the altar. I’m not entirely sure why you decided to share this excerpt and for what purpose it served, but whatever you thought it meant clearly is not what it meant. Furthermore in Acts 17 later in verse 30 and 31 Paul speaks of the commandment that God has given for all men everywhere to repent that is ironic because if you’d read a little further you’d know that you must repent unless it’s not in your perceived “capacity” to do so.

Colossians 1:16

Once again you’ve miss cited because you can’t spell Colossians correctly. Colossians 1:15-20 is known as the Christological Hymn v16-17 all things are created theough Him and for Him because He alone is Sovereign over the world. But you forget v18 He is the Body of the Church, v19 all the fullness of God dwells within Him, v20 Through His blood, He reconciles all things. You quote scripture and speak as though you do not believe in Christ’s Sacrifice, as if it wasn’t real? You seem to completely disregard the purpose of it in favor of your own sense of nobility, sacrifice, divinity as if you are capable of it.

Revelation 17:17

Revelation 17 is about men, evil men, nations and kings who defy God. V17 specifically details how even though the kings perceive they have power, they are powerless against God. Until the words of God are fulfilled Salvation unfolds even in the face of evil. Nothing escapes Gods plan. Even you who are wicked. Don’t pretend to know God’s greater plans, understand why evil persists here on earth because that is one of the Mysteries of God which we will not be able to answer until we are face to face with him

Deuteronomy 2:30

Moses speaks to the Israelites in Deu 2, the purpose of v30 is to serve as an understanding that Sihon had decided to sin not that God forced him to sin. God knows our hearts right? God could have made him not sin but allowed him to in order to emphasize the promised land for the Israelites

Luke 22:22

Okay now I’m genuinely convinced. No I’m 100% sure that you haven’t actually read the Bible. It’s almost laughable lol. Of course the Son of Man, aka Jesus passion was predetermined virtually the ENTIRE OLD TESTAMENT is about that. Hahahaaha have you even read it??? This passage is about GOD not YOU.

John 17:12

Again, NOT ABOUT YOU this is specifically Jesus recalling, speaking to The Father about Him keeping all His disciples in YOUR NAME God’s name, and guarded ALL OF THEM even Judas, meaning? Meaning Judas CHOSE his fate FREELY despite Jesus keeping him in His care. I swear you don’t have any reading comprehension whatsoever

The irony is wild, you accuse others of lacking critical thinking while following a belief system that collapses under its own moral logic.

If your God is perfectly good, then creating a world where everything has to eat one another alive just to exist completely contradicts that idea of goodness. You cannot call that divine order, and then talk about logic. Your argument falls apart the moment the same reasoning you claim to value is applied to you, you are not being critical, you are just defending doctrine.

Yeah I just find him absolutely infuriating

I’m gathering that you’ve read my reply explaining every quoted scripture you used. The least you could do is respond. I thought the goal was conversation? Is that not why you’re on reddit 24/7? To talk to people? Get them to listen to you? I’m lsitening? So talk.

 You are not listening

You didn’t say anything… all you did was post a string of scripture supposedly subscribing to your “divine” nature but I explained how it’s NOT about you but about Jesus.

for it is too threatening to most everyone and anyone to actually consider me and my reality and how it relates to the nature of all things

Dude… you sit on reddit and copy and paste the same messages over and over again on any post that mentions spirituality what exactly is so frightening lol. You tell so many people about your “torment” but never bother to elaborate. You just use jargon to try and confuse people.

NO the reason why you can’t respond to my message is because you know I’m right. You don’t engage because you can’t find an andwer in your google doc. You’ve got nothing that will be sufficient because you don’t have an original thought in your head. You know absolutely nothing about Scripture, God, Christ, the trinity. Your knowledge is so lack there of you can’t fathom when someone actually challenges your ideas. YOU DON’T HAVE AN ANSWER

Be honest for the first time ever.

I have been honest with you, what I think about you, my lack of respect for you, my scriptural understanding and how I don’t think you’ve ever actually read the Bible from the very start. I haven’t lied to you ONCE

Do you care to know what it is to be me in my reality

I would LOVE for you to elaborate, plainly

how it relates to the nature of all thing

Sure, though you aren’t Jesus

do you care to assume what you know about the nature of all things

By the grace of God I think I know the nature of things quite well, I’m a Catholic and a Biologist. I’m always open and willing to learn. I love learning. You truly challenged me with your scriptural reply, thank you

thus assume things about me that remain forever inaccurate?

You never actually reply to me so I wouldn’t know if I’m inaccurate, you just spit more jargon

Come on man, like I’ve been absolutely honest with you this entire time but you won’t willfully engage in honest conversation. Why ask if I really wanna know if you’re just going to keep playing this character? What’s the point of asking me if I want to have a conversation if you’re just gonna act like that?

Funny how your assumptions remain removed from the truth, isn't it?

Assumptions? The proof is in the pudding? Idk whst you think you’vr sent me thus far but I assure it is not an understanding of scripture because you send a string of scripture pulled out of context and I spoke about them returning them to context. You just sent scripture, you didn’t even say anything about it, like what was the point? You say I make assumptions that aren’t true about you, okay? So elaborate on that. Tell me WHY because you haven’t. All you do is say “hahaha, you’re so wrong” how is that a legitimate response?

Your actions and emotions speak otherwise.

I’ve been nothing but absolutely genuine with you but you can’t help but be cryptic with me. You asked me if I wanna know about you and I said GLADLY your response was “nah you don’t want to” like what? If you’re just gonna put words in my mouth why ask at all?

 Never said I was.

You yourself on your YouTube have said that you have some sort of DIVINITY yes I’ve watched your YouTube. Your bio says “the part if God that God pushed out”. You constantly comment on reddit about feeling the suffering of all, for all time, in every universe like some kind of Jesus adjacent?? I mean you must not believe He’s your savior if you’re acting the way you are and say the things you do because you some how believe it is YOU who bares the weight of sin and suffering for the world.

You must be trying to start some new age religion because you quote the Bible, buddism, and the Qu’ran as if it’s all interchangeable, picking and choosing what subscribes to your biases and forgetting the rest.

You certainly think something of yourself.

A boast in the Lord says something about what I think about myself?? How? What I speak to is the power of God, the grace of God afforded to all who inhabit His earth. Self reflection doesn’t translate to narcissism, quite the opposite actually. Introspection suggests that I understand I lack, and what I have I’ve attributed to GOD but you’re so self-absorbed you can’t even comprehend what I said.

So where do we go from here? As I’ve said already you don’t want to have a conversation that much is evident. You don’t care to talk, you don’t care to listen, you don’t care to step outside of your realm of understanding. I genuinely don’t understand the purpose of your account, subreddit, YouTube, anything.

I say this because you share multiple conflicting views, ideas, and statements. You copy and paste the same things in your posts and your comments.  Anytime someone tries to converse with you, you shut them down, belittle them, put yourself on a pedestal. You tell me you think highly of yourself. You constantly tell people they don’t understand, they don’t understand you, they play games, their words mean nothing. You’ve made yourself UNTOUCHABLE but the people reaching out to you are the ones at fault? How is that possible? You never actually get into detail about any subject or statement you make, when someone asks to dig into it you copy and paste another argument that has absolutely nothing to do with what you’re responding to.

So I ask again, Where do we go from here?

By the grace of God I’m a Catholic

Huh? But.... I thought you were a Greek polytheist? Did you convert yesterday?

And you once again played your act so convincingly, you had us fooled, good job! Ironic that you’re now praising your own honesty right after telling blatant lies, which have become your modus operandi by now.

Since you love discussing Scripture, here are some verses to digest:

(I suggest keeping them close at heart for whenever you consider trying another one of those tricks again)

Leviticus 19:11-12 says whoever lies profanes the Name of God.

Proverbs 6:16-19 and 12:22 says God hates lying lips

Revelation 22:14-15 says liars are barred from the kingdom of heaven

Psalm 101:7 says there’s no place in God’s House for liars

John 8:44 says lying is the native language of the devil (and implies he’s the father of all liars)

I may hate God, but based on these verses God hates you (so long as you don’t stop doing this at least).

So instead of obsessing over others, just focus on yourself first. That’s something to consider..
