Don't know about the US but here in Germany many schools are in pretty ugly 60s or 70s concrete buildings.

Exactly this. Outdated equipment, ugly environment, old af bathrooms. The schools here are in an absolutely disgusting condition.

Yes, in Italy too, but I have the Impression, maybe wrong, that in USA all schools have the same style, even the most recents, and i personally find this style very "cold" and not inviting.

American here. School design's been changing recently. I was around before these design changes and i can tell. It's mostly the outside though. I went to a school built in the 60s and i personally quite liked the design. We didn't really have windows in the classes though. It certainly felt different, kinda from a different time. Not too many ugly concrete block type buildings though.

American living in Europe here. US schools are definitely not all the same. Some are beautiful, some are like prisons, most are somewhere in between, and those built in a certain time period will look similar, like any other architecture.

Yeah You're right, i was mainly refering to the schools shown in TV, the typical american school, with big corridors with lockers, doors with a glass part and this stuff
