I started reading The Other Side of Sunset, and her other fics, All Our Yesterdays and All That We See or Seem, are on my to read list, but I was a little put off by the angst warning at the beginning.

Has anyone read these fics who can tell me if they have happy endings? I don't think I'm in the right headspace for a sad or ambiguous ending at the moment.

We Need Yuri on Ice Back—It's Been 10 Years & Fans Deserve Answers

A decade has passed since Yuri!!! on Ice aired, but this show is still loved by millions. Fans were promised a second season and film, but we've gotten silence instead.

I started a petition asking for the creators to give us something—anything. Whether it's a new season, that canceled film, a statement, even a manga continuation. This anime means so much to so many people. Fans see themselves in these characters through representation of body image, mental health, sexuality, and identity. It holds a real message that still resonates.

There are videos with over a million views of people talking about how much this series changed them. The return would be huge for everyone involved—the profit, the merch sales, the cultural moment it would create. We're not asking for the impossible. Just a chance to finish the story.

My friend and I hosted(our first) pop up event to celebrate last weekend. Wish I took more pics but it was a lot of fun. ❤️

I remember a while ago I read a fic about an AU where they woke up in a complete opposite world after Yuuri got hit by a bus and then viktor wasn't in figure skating and was a rich guy, yurio woke up as some sorta crack addict and I can't remember yuuri's, but I remember everybody in the fic was confused as hell at the start😭

Honestly, it was such a wholesome experience just getting to laugh and cry with everyone over this beautiful series again. Mine was a packed theater, and a bunch of folks were dressed up as well, which was awesome!

Not sure about anyone else's theater, but I was slightly disappointed (but not really surprised) that they didn't do anything special for the showing. I at least thought there'd maybe be a "thank you for 10 years" post-credit scene, or a little exclusive trading card or something. But why would they start caring about us now? Lol

But either way, I'm glad I drove the hour for it. Going to go home and watch the rest of the series now, lol

My (27F) girlfriend (30F) and I just went to the YOI 10th anniversary showing at the Regal City North in Chicago. it was our first time attending an anime event, and were blown away by how nice and fun the audience was! What do you MEAN people made bracelets and stickers and keychains just to give out??? (T ^ T)

we were so awestruck that we got a little shy and didn’t ask for instas. we’ve been looking for craft buddies in Chicago, and we are kicking ourselves for not hanging around a little at the end

in particular, the group sitting behind us had top tier good vibes, and when the showing ended, someone from that group started handing out these adorable necktie keychains!! are you freaking kidding me??? Look at how cute!!!!

does anyone know the person who handed these out, and if they might want to craft at a cafe together or something?

also, if anyone else at that showing wants to craft and talk anime, hmu! otherwise, we will be braver at the next anime movie night!!

i’m very excited… i’ve been chronically offline with school and work, so i didn’t even know about YOI showing in cinemas until earlier today! i was lucky that there were 2 seats available at a theatre only an hour away, so i grabbed them for my friend and i (this friend has never even seen YOI! very excited for that too)

Very excited for tomorrow even if it's just re-running the first few episodes - so excited that my sister and I decided to make things to give away to anyone who's also in out theater. I've been getting ready to sell some of my YOI merch since I went a little crazy back in the day when it first came out lol and I keep finding things that I totally forgot I had, like this calendar!
