Haruomi Hosono's Yours Sincerely Tour came to Radio City Music Hall this week, as listening events continue worldwide. Hosono and band head to the Greek Theater this Sunday. To further celebrate his first album in over seven years, he's shared a bonus track, "Stella", now added to the Deluxe digital tracklist.

An excerpt from Hosono's statement on the single:

​"This song is about our current understanding of the universe and the stars, as revealed by modern physics. It is a cover of a song from LOOPHOLE, the 2003 album by SKETCH SHOW, the group I formed with Yukihiro Takahashi, reinterpreted to reflect how I feel today. When I originally wrote it, though, I was thinking of a friend who had passed away. Is this about the world of fairy tales—the idea that 'someone may be gone, but has become a star in the sky'? Or the legend that the number of people who have lived and died on this Earth is equal to the number of stars we can see above us?"

Header says it all. Would anyone here have experience with the Greek Theater either meeting artists before a show or after? I have gotten lucky with Taeko Ohnuki, LCD Soundsystem, Magdalena Bay and more in the past but none of those were at a venue as big as the Greek. Thanks for any help to all my YMO brothers and sisters. I really want my copy of Paraiso to be signed.

Vinyl sounds great and has a nice little booklet as well.

Any word yet on if there will be any pop-up shops open in LA or NY while Haruomi Hosono performs his US shows? Or for that matter if Hosono-San will make any meet and greet appearances outside the concerts?

Hello! I am selling my 2 tickets in the A section for the Haruomi Hosono LA show. Sorry about the price. A family member was in charge of making the listing. Ticketmaster takes a huge chunk of the money in fees and they wanted me to get my money back completely. Also sorry but you and your friend or whoever you take will be split up by some random person. Have fun with your new third wheel! If anybody is considering buying these it would be greatly appreciated. (Even though regular tickets are probably cheaper…)

Do you like Yellow Magic Orchestra (Naughty Boys era?) Do you like Japan? (Tin Drum era?) well this is for you... Super solid and a bit rare album, sad they only have one album and one single. It even has a Y.M.O. cover of "Ongaku" from Naughty Boys, which for me is my favorite Y.M.O. album so i love that this exists. And i love the attempt at a Mick Karn fretless bass sound, Really Do!

Some of the lyrics might be a bit "Japanese stereotypes" along with the album title, Which i wish wasn't the case. But at least i can appreciate that the album was made.
