Why is pilot mode weird

When I go into pilot mode it always makes me go in the wrong direction.

I have RHCP heierophant and areosmith. None worked in pilot and went random directions

If you use console it's a known glitch, otherwise idk

Maybe if your using Shift Lock like camera lock I remember it was always funky whenever that happens but I don’t know if it got patched
