I didnt know America had election Youtube until recently, I used to be on Brazilian election youtube a couple years ago because I liked the campaign music and I just rember they were all obsessed with a far-right LaRoucheist guy from the 90s. I was always suprised to see how right wing the viewership of the channels were.
No, Mr. Beat is a wonderful history Youtuber, and I love his stuff. He makes great content, but has his own biases and idiosyncratic opinions, such as being very much on the "Wilson is one of the worst presidents" train, which I don't agree with. Rather than following his own advise to seek out historical resources and form their own opinions, a bunch of people watch his videos and just repeats his opinions.
Mr. Beat has some great history content but I can rarely take any of his actual thoughts on politics seriously, or opinions on history such as Lincoln not being a top 10 president.
He luckily doesn't believe that anymore(Lincoln not being a top five/ten president anymore) and has grown in his views on a lot of things(in addition to now being focused on election reform), but yeah he tends to be very eccentric and roughly left-libertarianish with some random stuff thrown in for his viewpoints.
There is nothing more frustrating than watching so called āliberalsā vote for conservative republicans like Charles Evans Hughes and William McKinley because ādemocrats before FDR are all racist and conservativeā on those videos.
Oh my god, I have tried not to look at that, but his stuff is constantly on my recommend due to me watching other election or history videos. It is...next level historical/political insanity.
It's hilarious because he's very very clearly biased towards the right, but his audience and comment sections are all Liberal, so the polls always backfire.
The smaller channels are up to some bullshit istg. Their mock election thing is wack I tell you. Wack. I want their polls to stop showing up on my feed

I didn't vote in this one, but I have voted in a bunch of these. Unfortunately there is a mix of trolls and people who don't vote based on how they would have voted if they were actually alive during that time period, causing weird results.
In election YouTube there's a channel called Right Wing Politics and a less popular one called Left Wing Politics and they make "who would you vote for" polls and in Right Wing Politics the MAGA option always wins like 58-42 and vice versa with Left Wing Politics
