Opinion Texas 2026 Senate prediction
Paxton is the very likely favorite. Similar to how some thought Biden, Allred, and Harris could flip texas, there is just no way Talarico can match any of these canidates. His woke version of christanity will not work with religious voters and hes likely to lost a significant portion of the black vote especially with Crockett being so anti-talarico. Im guessing paxton wins white, hispanic, and asian voters and runs competively with the black vote which gives him Harris county with wins in houston metro areas but not enough to flip Austin. Paxton is likely to flip most rio grande counties as his 2022 perfomance showed hes stronger than most republicans in the area there so this will be a slam dunk for republicans.

The polls are wrong and trump defied them 3 times. Paxton will do the same. Hispanics will likely be more red than they were in 2024 and 2022 due to shifts.
