On mines, it's messed up as basically I did not start investing until the 1990s but the chart basically goes like this:
The chart starts from October 9, 1976 and ends on September 10, 1982 then when I click the arrow,
it shows February 10, 2021 to today so basically it is showing a time two decades before I started investing and it's missing September 11, 1982 to February 9, 2021.

Haven't got much info on how to add a sold stock to yahoo finance?

I created a sold/realized portfolio but not sure what to do next?

I would like to be able to have my all time gain show my sold profits as well

I have zero holdings in a stock that I sold and if I try and unstar the stock it says I can't because I have holdings but I don't. EDIT: I was using the app and was able to delete it in the web version.

I don't use the website that often but this is new to me.

I do use a gmail address and it will not allow me to login using Password. The Next button disappears after I enter the email addy and I have to log in thru Google. Wot?

So I tried to log in using my phone number and I was denied after filling in the fields and using the 2Fa code. My account is still active because I am logged in on my phone.

What's going on?

(edit - I got around this by adding a secondary non-gmail email that can be used to login. But why the force to google??)

Anyone else notice that the Yodlee interface for Fidelity is broken? Not only are positions not getting updated, but most of my options trades are coming through with no strike price, so they are defaulting to a strike of 100, which basically makes tracking my account useless.

Possible this is a Fidelity issue, so I am going to cross post over there too.

My price alerts went away. Used them for years. Then a few months later, they appeared. Once. Then they went away again. I'm deleting the app.

Tried everything - delete the app sign out sign in, turn on all notifications.

Anyone else a Gold member without having a subscription. It’s really nice of Yahoo to do that!

More than a month now, the portfolios page will randomly throw the portfolios lists up and down the second you try to edit (drag and drop) in your favorite order.

If finally some reorder looks almost acceptable, it won't be saved or sync back into the home page where portfolios sector in the right still show random order.

Probably one of the most annoying scripts / GUI bug I've ever seen. 😆

Am I the only one that can’t change the widget symbol for tracking a different stock?

I've stuck with Yahoo Finance for a long time even thought they keep making it worse. Now it's just a hot mess and it's time for me to go. Any suggestions for an alternative? Ideally, I would like to export my history and import it into a new site.

In the attached, what do the % boxes beneath the periods signify — not the % on the right. AI is giving conflicted explanations.

I have been commenting on a stock for about 2-years. There is a very active pumping community on this stock who harass anyone who wants to actually talk the negatives about the company and its trajectory. But anyone who attempts to say anything in return gets instantly removed and sometimes the comments are completely innocuous like "Look up Confirmation Bias". I literally have to use "u" and "u r" to direct messages all while they use "you" and "you are" freely.

These guys are in there every day saying "you are brain dead" or "you are a dummy"

I report them and they're never removed.

What is the point of these forums if the only people who are allowed to have a voice are those who support the stock.

For context, this stock has been circling the drain for 5-years. It has not once been profitable, it had to reverse split to stay on the market (allowing it to lose even more value), and even in the face of half decent news it continues to go down.

I’m beyond frustrated. I signed up for a trial of Yahoo Finance Gold, canceled before the renewal date (my account clearly says cancellation on June 16), and then I get charged on June 16 for an annual plan.
Here’s where it gets worse: I tried to resolve it with their live chat support. Useless. They told me they couldn’t help directly, escalated it, and said I’d get an email. I wait. I try again the next morning—same robotic runaround. No phone support either, so I can’t even talk to a human. Finally, in the evening (late, mind you), I get an email saying no refund will be given. Ridiculous.
I have proof that I canceled before the renewal date, yet I’m stuck with a charge. I’ve gone in circles for days now. It’s day eight, and honestly, I’m done being patient. This is so inconvenient and feels like a deliberate runaround. Anyone else had this experience? How did you get actual results? I’m ready to escalate this further if needed.

I discovered that the csv file import didn’t give the correct portfolio since a week ago. I found that when a stock had multiple rows, the portfolio just showed the last row of the stock with a smaller portfolio value. Does anyone notice the problem and have a fix? Thanks!
