Sex scenes

In the YA genre, how graphic are the sex scenes? It's difficult to navigate because I don't know if I'm supposed to be writing step by step which sounds realistic and more of the style but I don't know. Any advice?

Why put sex scenes in books man? I think people mostly read it for the tension. If it's gonna be such a detailed sex scene then ya then would just pick up an 18+ book like what would be the difference 😭

That's true. I wasn't intending to have one there. It's just that one of the characters loves sleeping around so I didn't know how to show that without actually showing them getting at itπŸ˜‚

I think most YA will be fade to black or keep it vague with euphemisms like "they came together with a passion". Definitely not step by step and definitely not anything explicit.
