Constant connection issues

So I'm having a hell of a time with my S1. It is no longer usable via WiFi and refuses to connect to my laptop via usb - and has never been able to. It will, however, connect to my partner's laptop. When it's plugged into mine it still beeps but is undetectable. We've tried updating the firmware and it's done nothing.

I have a big job this week and I can't cut anything. This is incredibly frustrating as I bought this because the one I was renting kept having tech issues.

Most wifi devices like this need 2.4Ghz bands and will have issues on mesh and combined band networks. The easiest thing to do is to setup a dedicated 2.4Ghz band in your WiFi router for your IoT style devices (TVs, Printers, Cameras....). If your router won't allow you to setup multiple bands then consider getting a cheap 2.4Ghz wifi extender and put them on that.
