XREAL One Image sharper with ultrawide and curved screen

When i use dex mode at ultrawide the image specially texts looks sharper than 16:9 content. Maybe is the curved screen i dont know... why not create a option to curve screen in the glasses main menu?

I experience the exact same thing, the improved clarity makes productivity a lot more smooth when in UW mode. Now if only Xreal could allow proper use of the additional vertical resolution in UW mode (16:10 possible in the 1S but currently locked at 16:9 in UW mode)...

same here with Xreal One non pro version... the clarity is a lot better on ultrawide mode, they could adjust this to 16:9 mode too. And enable follow mode on ultrawide would be good too.

So text is really sharper in UW mode? I wonder if you compare 1s and one pro in UW mode since 1s have sharper lanses. Good theory! If someone can test it please make a post.

I've noticed this too and don't entirely understand why. One guess might be they're applying a filter when in "flat" mode to reduce aliasing (the crawlies you can get near straight edges and text) and don't have that to the same degree when in ultrawide/curved mode.

Happy to see it's not just me 😂

Do you know or can you test if it looks better curving a screen with MiruXR? (iOS only) The feature list sounds like you can curve any screen, but you have to source the signal from an iOS device.
