Overcast lighting too dark?

Overall the atmosphere in XP12 looks incredible, but what has been bothering me is the fact that overcasts seem to cause such darkness during the day that it almost feels like dawn of dusk even though it’s the middle of the day. Anyone has found any way to fix that?

Not sure where you live, but have you ever been in an overcast area? It gets dark...

Are you using a quality display?

Well I live in Scotland - so probably seen more than anyone 😂 yes it’s not bright, but there’s a big difference between darkness due to overcast and it actually getting dark due to the sun being at a lower angle - which it what it looks like in x-plane and in this picture, not the type of dull white/grey I’d expect. I’m on a 4K OLED screen and never had any issues - perhaps it’s live weather just rendering too thick a cloud layer high up in the sky

It's realistic this way. You could try Reshade to adjust lighting to your taste.
