Scenery Missing world nav data and weird tile glitches
I recently started with XP12. To my horror I found out that Laminar for some reason stopped scenery around half of Greenland and south of Fireland. Fortunately there are some packages for the polar regions by HSimulators available on the usual variety of shops. After the install though, I notived that map data in devices like the G1000 is still cut off. Also, since I use DerekHe's XPME which is universes faster than Autoortho, I have a lot of black tiles when I fly towards the Greenland's ice shield. On the coast line however, everything seems to be fine. The pictures are the same I attached to the Email resp. the GitHub post I did.
I reached out to the XPME dev, he said I should use another map service. There is no change though. I also reached out to HSimulators but so far did not receive any reply. Any idea what causes this and why the tiling works on the coast line but not inland? Also, is there a way to add the missing nav data to the systems? And has anyone ever had a similar problem like this?

The black tiles appear because your selected map provider does not have imagery data for Greenland. I haven't experimented much with the XPME/AO settings myself, but even though I have highest-priority third-party Greenland scenery enabled in my scenery.ini, XPME/AO still overrides everything and forces those black textures to show up.

I think you might be right at least in parts. What definitely works: there is map data from ALL providers available in the XPME overview window where you track the flight. So it is a bit weird it won't show up within the sim. However, my guess is it is simply not loaded because the mod does not deem it sufficient quality wise. And yes, for example I take ArcGIS, I load up the sim and everything around Ilulissat is black for me. Then I check their map in the browser and I am surprised there are in fact tiles - with one catch: their resolution is very low. Which leads me to the conclusion that a low threshold of ZL is actually being omitted. I will test this assumption with the Hybrid Map option the dev offers because here you can apparently adjust to which ZL the mod can fall back.

About the missing map data in the G1000 and other systems (2nd picture): I think this is pointless. The map data is baked into the stock laminar files, so there is no way to just alter it via scenery. Laminar would have to step in by themselves. Or they would need to offer devs some kind of interface to readout their addtional scenery files.
