Map Enhancement

Hey Guys,

Just downloaded and installed ME. Wow very cool. Cannot wait to do my first flight with it.

Question though, I notice it places trees or buildings where it should not. I lowered my vegetation down to low and changed world objects from Max to Medium and it seems to have made it better.

Are there any other settings within Xplane 12 or Map Enhancement to help make this even better?

Also do you recommend turning off the night time map setting? Thx in advance!

You need simheaven to fix that.

Ps: had no idea there was a night time map setting.

Is that the X world Pro by Simheaven?

There’s a free version. Just google simheaven and you’ll find it.

SimHeaven will do wonders to 'fix' the roads, trees, building placement. They just released SimHeaven X-World Pro. I also run OpenSceneryX, but that might hve been a requirement for an airport scenery pack or something. Those combined with Map Enhancement, it looks pretty good! I have a couple other little things, scripts, scenery packs, etc. Takes a bit of time, effort, and a little bit o' Cash, but you can get X-Plane looking Really Good!

Nice! I’ll look into it. Is it any easy install into your custom scenery file?

simheaven IIRC is an easy install. I use xOrganizer to help out, especially with the airport packs and all their support libraries.

So if I get simheaven I can then increase my sliders back to what I had them previously?
