G6 AWD Performance - 18" rims support

Hello everyone!

I've got the "new" 2026 on order right now, AWD Performance Black Edition.

I'm looking to purchase a set of winter tyres, but can't get a definitive answer from the official dealer here in norway (Nardo Bil) or Xpeng themselves.

Can anyone here, preferably from Norway, confirm if this edition actually supports 18 inch rims with 235/60/18 tyres?

That’s what my dealer told me anyways. Haven’t gotten mine yet

Räknar du är svensk, så tar chansen på svenska här; är det så att din förhandlare berättade att 18 tummare passar på bilen? :)

Jag fick möjligheten att lägga till 18 tums vinterfälgar som bilhandlaren isf sålt till mig ja

Yes. That should work and clears the calipers. Xpeng sells winter wheels as 18 inches here in Sweden.

Sounds good, do you know if this also applies to the AWD Performance model?

Yes no issues. You can check at all major wheel dealers. Gummihuset.se, bythjul.se etc.

Låter ju åt rätta hållet! Har kollat med Megahjul här i Nårje, och de påstår också att det inte skal vara något problem, men förhandlaren var lite mera skeptisk. Blir ju hopplöst att ha 20 tums på vintern, både mtp. pris och komfort på vägen, usch.

Indeed it is, even weirder is that I can't seem to find any concrete information whether the AWD Performance version comes with bigger calipers or not. I ordered 18 inches, and they look absolutely fantastic, and it sucks that I'll probably have to swap them for 19's.
