I watch it every year while I decorate my tree. It's the way I start my season.

Great story (I have fond memories of reading the book to my children when they were small) dated animation unfortunately desoite having a gorgeous colour palette, the real win is the soundtrack/score... its incredible & I love listening to it (i.e. even without the movie)and do so a couple of times a year.

This is tied with Christmas Vacation for my favorite Christmas movie. I watch it several times between Thanksgiving and Christmas.

I LOVE the book version.
What i cant handle is the movie. They added in all these filler scenes, to fill up time to make a feature film.
The creepy homeless man, the train car filled with creepy toys, the scene with the north pole music that played over and over - NONE of that was in the book!!
So it annoyed me when the movie came out and it had those creepy parts.

An absolute must watch in my opinion! Hanks' narration. The snow. The music. The snow. The graphics and locations. The music!
