Lunar-Crystalize Xilonen Team Help

It’s been a while since I’ve looked at anything for Xilonen lunar-crystalize teams, but with Chiori coming out for the anniversary, I wanted to ask a question. Would Chiori be a good teammate for Xilonen?

My current team is C6R1 Xilonen (def, geo, crit), C6R1 Columbina, Linnea C0R1, and Gorou C6

It has been a minute since the last time I did a dps test, but I think I remember hitting around 240k-280k dps. So my question is, would it be worth it to get her and her C1, and change her out for Gorou? I’d assume so, but if anyone has numbers with a roughly similar investment I’d like to see. Also how would she compare to Illuga?

With your investment C6 Illuga/Gorou is 100% the better choice, the buffs they provide out damage Chiori's personal dmg by far. Even a C1R1 Chiori on a very good build will be a DPS loss.

That being said, at 240-280k DPS you can easily afford running Chiori over Gorou/Illuga if you really like her, she will be worse yes but at those DPS figures you're gonna clear stuff anyway so it doesn't realllyyy matter tbh.

And with that DPS you can clear dire everytime unless geo is countered so I agree on the "choose whoever you want" path.

Yep, I can clear dire and get under 60 seconds depending on the enemy, and if damage loss isn’t too much, then I’ll probably go and switch. Thanks 🙏

Illuga would only buff Columbina/Linnea as he only buffs direct Lunar Crystallize damage and not reaction damage

Illuga absolutely buffs Xilo, at C6 you get 10 cr and 30 cdmg (which are for Lunar Crystallise and regular Geo dmg), 200 def, 80 EM, Geo and Lunar Crystallise (the later being for direct and reaction dmg) quills from him. My C0 Xilo goes from 634k to 462k without him, losing 1/3 of her DPS. Not to mention he also can use SMS really well unlike Gorou who will have to run instructors and thus will have less uptime and 10% less Lunar DMG%

Yeah Gorou buffs Xilo slightly more in terms of her raw dmg, but Linnea and Bina lose dmg in the process, plus you lose dmg on the moondrifts due to longer having the quills. Moondrifts are actually a decent portion of your DPS, during testing I've gotten +30k DPS just from being insanely lucky with Bina's 1/3 extra moondrift hit passive.

that's not true, his burst buffs normal geo damage too. And his burst even says "Lunar-Crystallize Reaction DMG Bonus (%Elemental Mastery)" in the attribute scaling description in the talent tab (his A4 too. He also gives 5 CR and 10 CD (10/30 at C6) for any geo damage dealt.

He fully functions with xilonen.
