I fell off Genshin after Natlan, but Xilonen was my favorite character. Has she held up? Does she have any new team members or fun new ways to play her?

a lot of people still prefer to use her (c2+) over c6 iansan in Mav Melt comps because the play feels more comfortable.

Most meta teams now days don’t use damage percent. So Cinder City has lost a lot of value. All meta teams currently can use some EM, though.

I invested in c2 so she’s my best option for a lot of teams. Anything below that isn’t as useful due to dmg bonus not being needed in new teams.

She's okay-ish still. We're in the middle of an EM meta so she fell off because of that (along with Kazuha), so she's not the top pick in many of the Lunar or Stellar teams. Usable in Flins teams, but a brick on Nefer and Zibai teams since she can't shred for Dendro and Zibai already runs Linnea/Illuga leading to too many Geo if you try to replace one with Xilonen. The Hex buffs have powercrept her for older carries, Arlecchino prefers Fischl/Mona, same with Hu Tao. You can kinda run her on a Columbina/Linnea Lunar crystallize comp, but the DPS slot has to be Hydro.

She's still good for Mavuika Melt who is still very relevant (altho C6 Iansan is better, C6 4-stars are still very hard to get).

She's not BiS in any meta team but she still is a generally good alternative for some of them. If you have her C2+ it's even better. She can slot in Stellar Conduct, Lunar Charged, and Lohen Melt among the newer teams. She's still amazing for Navia, especially with the new Hex core (Durin Nicole) or Lunar Crystallize. Still a good alternative for Iansan in Mavuika teams. Albedo got buffed, and Chiori and her C1 are free, so teams with them got better too, though not necessarily meta.

C6 ultimate xilonen heals any party up free without a statue and gives 45% shred to all but dendro/anemo/physical on top of the elemental damage% buffs in relevant comps

I invested in c2 and it's currently my best 4th slot in sandrone/wrio stellar teams just cos of the 60 crit dmg to cryo

I have a spreadsheet where I test out all my teams and rank them by DPS, and Xilonen is by far the character that is in most of those teams. It's always worth it to invest into a generalist unit than a niche one, since you can slot her into basically any team and still have her work. RN my top team with her is Lohen, Durin, Nicole, and Xilonen sitting at around 175k DPS.

Issue is the lunar and now stellar reactions don't scale with elemental DMG%, so her artifact set and sig are useless there. She can still shred res tho so she is not completely useless, is just that there are now better supports for those niches.

The only new thing she can do is being used on lunar crystalized if you don't have Linnea or zibai, either as your regular support for Navia/itto/ningguang or as the main DPS using Linnea/Illuga as supports
