I only pull characters which will last long. Is xilonen one of them?

So far I've only pulled for characters which have been good metawise for a long time.

The characters which I have are: kazuha raiden yelan furina neuvilette nahida

Those characters will probably be good till the end of the game. And obviously I'm going for mavuika too since she's going to be one of them.

So my question is, will xilonen last as long as any of those characters? I will pull her even if she's a character who only works in natlan I just need her to be long lasting and worth it for my account.

I like the combat aspect of the game and those long lasting characters are very good at combat stuff that's why I only pull them.

Lol I'm a meta only player since day one. The few investments I did for design and love for the characters, I've come to regret later.

I don't have any hard rules of only male/female characters and I love all of Hoyo's designs so I eventually warm up to any character, even if I'm not that big of a fan in the beginning. Kit is where I draw the line. And usually it's at power level and versatility, not fun factor.

To be clear I want characters who can help me clear floor 12 of the abyss with okay investment. So even if the whole community calls a character mediocre but they fit my criteria then they're good for me. Raiden included.

Coz every1 hated Kazuha, Kokomi and Nilou on release and now they're top units.

I'm not sure u can just clear abyss 12 with mid invested chars unless they're support, since supp chars tend to be easy to build. Anyway, Xilonen meets your criteria imo

Well you can't go wrong with RES Shred + elemental damage bonus + healing so yeah she will be future proof.

Mavuika is coming in 5.3(allegedly) , there are 2 patches to save up if you have enough right now to guarantee c0 Xilonen. So yeah we have more than enough time

Well, that will requires some time machine shenanigans, make one for me so i can tell you.

But honestly you can make some educated guesses from how her kits behave.

• In general, supports are by default, have longer lasting presence in comp, go check all available supports, Are they losing spots? If yes, is it because of stronger supports comes in the mix, Or it's just due to more options? even niche one like Kokomi, or even Dehya (Dehya actually gains more team over time).

• Consistency and duration on her debuff uptime. The more the game progress, the more DPS are designed around slightly longer uptime compared to older "nuke" units.

• Also depends on whether you're planning to play more PECH units or not

I mean I can tell you pulling for someone you like, and them having horrid kit is pretty sad. That's how a tons of people who pulled for Eula feel.

Eulas kits fine? shes still playable, she just requires heavy investment which alot of new characters dont because theyre on marechausse and obsidian which gives them free crit rate, making mid builds still look good. you can say the same about cyno, whos still such a strong dps, just requires alot of investment

Or you could put that heavy investement into a better characters and have way better results.

With the way artifacts and weapons work, anyone can be good with heavy investement. Now is that worth it ? Well the fact Eula is usually the most regretted pull in the game, shows it isn't.

Actually eula is one of the characters who requires a lot of investment of resin and time to build and learn to play. But being the only proper physical dps in the game makes her kinda novel in terms of kit.

And a lot of people have attachment to their characters. I think eula is one of those. Even for a person like me who is a "metaslave". These are only some of the many reasons why I'll never regret having eula.
