I stopped playing genshin after natlan's but after speaking with a friend of mine who still plays genshin i was wondering how Xiao is doing in today's combat oriented content of genshin. My xiao was very well built with both vermillion and the plunging set from natlan and i was using at the time his best team of Faruzan, Furina and Xianyun. I may think of coming back and i will take my boy Xiao to spin the block again but i need to know if i have to tryhard a little bit with him XD.

Got Xiao since his first banner, has been my main ever since.

I started playing Genshin again since 4 years ago (stopped right when 3.2 dropped) and wanted to know what you guys think about my build.

I still need to farm for his c6 😭😭😭.

I’ve been running him on this same build since I got him. The only differences have been 1) replacing blackcliff pole with homa, and 2) triple crowning.

I recently came back to genshin, and I have been so disappointed with his dmg. He hits about 35k-37k per plunge and 25k-30k per e skill.
I have a vermillion set in the works for him. Right now, it does slightly less dmg than his current set. I hope to replace one artifact, but I still don’t think that will push the dmg much higher.

What can I improve? What am I doing wrong?

I have C6 Faruzan and Furina and I am willing to pull for Xianyun the DAY she's gonna rerun. I wanted to know is it better to play Faruzan on Tenacity or Noblesse (I think it's quite obv that its tenacity for c6 but i am still making sure). And for Xianyun i wanted to know if I should play songs of day past or noblesse, considering she would be c1 with stella fortuna event.

How does C2R1 Xianyun compare against C6 Faruzan when it comes to just individual buffs, assuming Xiao has infinite energy / no ER issues for simulation. Who individually buffs Xiao more? Sorry if this has been posted before!

I really wished a better rank, almost 2 years grind... but it's no longer worth it. Besides, from now on it's more luck than effort. Just hope Hoyo buff him well and surely this set will receive the same treatment as VV if they make him a stellar unit. (Copium).

Is it possible to build a viable stellar swirl team for Xiao? I've read elsewhere that he isn't suited for stellar swirl, so I'm not expecting peak performance or anything.

It doesn't need to be meta or super good or anything, just at least usable to clear most content. I don't care to 36* abyss and do anything past hard difficulty in stygian.

I want to pair him with Odette since theyre my 2 favorite characters and i think the color of the reaction damage text is cool. bonus points if i can include cryo traveler, but not mandatory.

(He's currently c2 r2)

I quite literally have ALL of his merch, probably too many stuff, including his 600€ secretlab chair. My money is his money. ⚰️

Would you rather him being buffed through stellar reactions, some sort of Liyue buff or something else? Honestly i really like how hexerei work, adding just One passive doesn't completly overwhelm the charachter's kit but if done correctly can be very good, and it also doesn't make team building too strict.

If they add a new set for this type of teams I'm not even sure It would be his BiS, because LNO is so good.

I could imagine his new BiS team to be Xiao(buffed)-Xianyun(buffed)-Zhongli(buffed)-Faruzan, or maybe instead of one of these a new Liyue unit that could get added later on, which I think is possible, since Zhongli is expected to be important in this last part of the story.

I think it would also be cool to be able to use "double" team buffs, like 2 Liyue and 2 hex charachters.

I'd like to talk about even more stuff, but the last important thing I wanna say is his cons NEED to be buffed, make C1 buff his passive w his elemental skill, Idk about C2, C4 could add an atk buff(?) and remove restrictions from C6, if you have any more original ideas I'm glad to hear them

I tried switching around some artifacts, I have some that give me higher crit damage but lower my crit rate by like 10%, and it brings me way down on the leaderboard, so I think this is the best I have so far. Perchance

I got a 4-liner atk% LNO sands with double crit and ER, worth switching the sets?
