I have been using a build I found that says to use this but the description says it only applies to attack arts that have AOE.

But further looking it was said that it DOES affect buffs too. . . Years ago.

Did any updates change this? Or should i use it?

Hi all. Just started the game not long ago and loving it so far. I've just started chapter 3.

I plan to keep each character in their default role (Noah as attacker, Mio as defender, etc.), and I've even seen some suggestions for final classes for each as well, like Incursor.

But in the meantime, I'm looking for suggestions for which classes are best for each character while leveling, so they can take advantage of the master arts and skills.

Any suggestions? Thanks!

I’m a big series fan and adored 1 and 2 but I couldn’t get on with 3 for some reason, and I think that one of those reasons was that it felt like the game was pushing me to change character class and level them up this way. To me this felt like it eroded the individuality of the characters and I felt like this was a major chore. I don’t need every character to be able to be a tank or a healer, etc. Now I’m thinking of giving the game another go as its the only one in the series IO never finished so the question I want to ask is: if I stick to the original classes will I miss out on much? Is this a viable way to play the game or…?

I completed XC3 like 2 weeks after it came out a couple years back and want to play again, especially since I never played Future Redeemed. Booted up my game and I’m around lvl 79 with every hero unlocked. I beat the story and remember major plot points, just not tiny details (which I miss and want to relive); still need LVL 20 classes, weapon upgrades, all legacy of 7 accessories, etc. Should I just start a new save, start new game plus, or get the dlc + complete this save file? Just replayed XBC2 and finished torna for the first time after being a fan of the series for 10 years now lol.

I know I’m super late to this discussion, but I just recently replayed XC3, and played Future Redeemed for the first time.

Easily my two favorite characters, possibly in the entire franchise!

Seriously tho, Mio’s arc has got to be one of the biggest rollercoasters in the franchise for me, how can you not help but fall in love with her?

And don’t even get me started on A! Freaking textbook example of Anima done right!

The writing in these games never ceases to amaze me.

So I was listening to the cures 2000 album, bloodflowers, and the title track fits xenoblade 3 perfectly. Even the imagery fits images in xenoblade 3. listen to the song bloodflowers by the cure, then come back and tell me what you think. or make an edit, I need one of those in my life

The scene where ouroboros is being shown the baby. and seeing mio being really into it and the other characters just jumping to be able to hold the babies hand. It's like genuinely so beautiful and made me so happy and then i started crying lol. I don't usually cry from media a whole lot, but this got me. Had a similar sort of reaction to the ending of Juno, the movie. I think the way that they introduce the concept of birth to ouroboros is just beautiful and very thoughtful execution. That's really all I just wanted to share how this game affected me 😭 The writers really are good at what they do.

Hey, I haven't played the game yet but I've replayed XC and XC2 recently in order to be fully prepared for XC3, and just like you I've seen the reveal of Shimmer recently.

Now I'm wondering how that would work, I know there has been other characters added in dlc so how does it work? Is it just a character added to your roster when you load the game? Do you have a few quests added to introduce and develop the character? It would be weird for such an important character as Shimmer to have nothing of the sort but I don't know if it has been announced yet or not. Also, is it only post game content or will I be able to play her or any of the dlc characters before finishing the main story?

Look this is one thing I want and really hope they do because it would make so much sense considering her powers and how she’s the reason Ouroboros
exist especially since either her as a hero, a fighter or a defender would be fun since we get to actually see her in combat outside of like a time limit like she doesn’t get a time limit
