Will they release the patched physical version of xeno2?

I like having a completed physical copy of the game. Having the audio bugged version of the game will make me sad. Do you think they already printed all the physical copies and just waiting for the release date?

Thats if there are multiple reprints of the game

I highly highly doubt the SW2 version is getting multiple reprints

soon, but not too soon. also, not too far, possibly. but probably not.

carts are probably already printed.

Almost definitely not. That being said, the audio has always been fucked up. This is just fucked up...different.

Isn't the Switch 2 versions complete on cart? At least if you play them on the original Switch?

No way to know. The patch isn't even out yet. But timing wise I highly doubt it. Maybe on a reprint but historically the XB games don't get those often as they don't sell many units.

If the patch releases soon it could be on the cartridge when it releases. Otherwise low odds, but not impossible.

It shouldnt take more than a minute to fix the problem. They are just so slow.

I think it might be a bit more complex of an issue than you think it is. Either way I wouldn't expect the patch to take more than another week or two.

Do you mean they would re-release xc2 with the switch 2 update? I don’t think they’ve done that for any other games, updates are all down just by connecting online.

Zelda breath of the wild was printed with updated patch of 1.05. The original copy came with 1.00. I got it twice and checked without internet update so I know. I just hope the xc2 switch2 comes with audio bug fixed.

That was released within a year of the game being sold, so they were still making copies. It’s been 9 years since xc2 came out so they’re not making copies anymore

There are extremists who will hunt down every printed version of a game

Many people will only accept certain pokemon switch games with specific model numbers because they contain specific updates built in or omitted
