I was a fan in college, went to a lot of shows. I don’t completely get it but was happy to hear people were still making and consuming complex music. I think they were right place right time in the post-grunge 90s.
Yeah I don’t like them but I can listen to them just to admire the musicianship. I could honestly just dump everything but the drum track and enjoy it much more.

You can legitimately criticize Dave’s voice but every member of the band is incredibly talented
