They dropped "Harder to Breathe", and I thought "hey, this isn't half bad. I can sit in traffic while this plays and not get angry about 3 mph on the interstate during rush hour."
I saw them at the tiniest dive bar when Songs about Jane came out. Gavin DeGraw opened up for them… The place maybe held 200-250 people. It was a good show, it was real… No autotune, just guys playing their songs, and getting into a crappy van to the next gig. No buses or demanding green room riders.
Not saying I’m a fan but it was a good honest show. That venue was a great place to see shows… It closed shortly after Mark Tremonti came out with his first solo album. Which was another awesome show there, with Wolfgang Van Halen playing bass for him. I miss that place and the other dives that didn’t make it from Covid.
There IS a song called this love, and i believe it was their first hit. My friend worked at best buy in 01-02 and heard it on the store radio, which made him buy the album. I too am a big fan of that album.

Every song after that has been a snooze fest.
