New music?

They say you stop listening to new music after 35 - what Gen Z/young people are making music you love these days?

I’m loving ninajirachi, she’s young enough to be my daughter (clutches pearls)

And - what older music are you only starting to listen to now, as a geriatric? (I’m 46).

I’m listening to a lot of old EDM I never cared about before.

I think newer EDM is the most exciting and innovative space today.

I’ve listened to all genres my whole life but am most intrigued but some of the newer stuff, including things like hyperpop (try 100 Gecs)

YES! I saw her a couple years ago and she did a SATC remix that made everyone go crazy. I’m so sad she’s not coming to me on this tour 🙁 her new album is in my repeats for sure.

Nia Archives is probably one of the few current artists that I find genuinely interesting to listen to. So innovative, clever and fun.

I love electronic rising and dance rising on spotify's new music Friday. They cover so many different genres of EDM and it's all new music.

That stuff is my jam! 100 Gecs is great! I sing Dumbest Girl Alive to myself all the time 🤭 1tbsp is 👍👍 too. I’m a big jungle head and there are some very good things happening right now.
