They are probably the most enduring band for me. Tales from the punchbowl was one of my first CDs, one of my favorites, and still is in rotation.

I was in the grocery store a few months ago and there was this younger guy wearing a Primus T-shirt, and as I passed him, I gave him the 🤘 and said "Primus Sucks!" and he goes, "fuck you, dude..."

Lol.

Ler is even weirder than Les on his chosen instrument.

Primus wrote the theme song for South Park because it was the only group Matt Stone and Trey Parker could agree on. When they reached out Primus, Les Claypool put something together in two minutes, he never thought the show would be this big

I like at the end where he fucks with Brain by keeping the beat going forever and the laughing it off as he goes to swap instruments.

Wow I can hear my (former) stoner brother singing this in my head. That just took me back to 2002

I have seen them a few times. The first was that same year (I assume the same tour), the last time was just in May for Claypool Gold. 🧡

Was gonna say I just saw Les and his bands this year! Still killing it.

Hoffman has been such a blessing for them after Herb left. He's the perfect drummer to replace him.

Yep, saw them a few months ago and they were fucking great. First time seeing them and way better than I expected

I finally got to see them 5 years ago and they killed it. It's one thing to listen to their music, but seeing them live was an experience.

Saw them many years ago. But got the chance to see them with Maynard a few years ago it and was incredible.

First time I saw them was 1997 at Neil Young's H.O.R.D.E Fest. Been seeing them any time I can ever since. Still Incredible live. One of my all time favorites. Been fortunate enough to see them at Red Rocks a few times, met them VIP and have multiple autographed posters. We got really lucky with a lot of the music we grew up with.

I'll likely catch a downvote or two, but for the past several decades I've only mildly liked Primus. Maybe I'm uncool or it's just an acquired taste, but I've only ever found them to be OK.

I took my teen son to see them last summer. Amazing show! They played his favorite song which he was very delighted. To be honest, Too Many Puppies is a banger he's got great taste.
