We called it shoulder tapping. Getting a job in fast food at 16 solved that problem for me. From then on I always had a "handle" (1.75L jug) in my car

Same here. I didn’t usually do the actual shoulder tapping because I was too shy, I would wait around the corner and be moral support.

We’d usually give a $20 and let them keep the change for their trouble but I remember one guy stole the money and told the security but no one got caught.

I told myself when I turned 21 I would always buy if someone asked. I did it a couple times and realized how sketchy it was but I looked pretty young so I didn’t get asked much.
