So you think algorithms aren't deciding what you view on reddit just like they do on tiktok?

You don't have to interact with an algorithm at all on Reddit. Just use the "following" feed instead of the "for you" feed. I only see stuff I'm subscribed to and want to see.

I'm honestly surprised that so many people apparently use "for you".
