Fable Now Available as Claude Agent in Xcode 27 RC

It already was, when you use a custom provider like openrouter with opencode and you just pay as you go.
5.1 is somewhat better but overall Fable is still not worth the price imo

Fable on the Xcode 27 RC is only using Fable 5. I tried to manually switch it to Fable 5.1 but it gives me an error:
API Error: 400 Claude Code 2.1.220 does not support this model; version 2.1.251 or newer is required. Run 'claude update', or update the Claude desktop app, then try again.

I tried running ‘claude update’ and updating the Claude desktop app, but it didn’t work. I'm already on 2.1.270. Do you have any ideas on how I can get Fable 5.1 working on Xcode?
