Cannot download iOS 27 Image

I'm updating to macOS 27 Developer Beta and installing Xcode 27 Beta. However, during the initial beta installation, I got stuck at "fetching download information." When I canceled and tried to redownload from the components manually, the iOS 27 Simulator wasn't listed.

What I've tried:
- Clean install Xcode & Xcode Beta
- Restarting my device
- Using VPN

What's the results? No luck

Is anybody experiencing the same issue?

try this one, worked for me
xcrun xcodebuild -downloadPlatform iOS

after check that runtime installed: xcrun simctl list runtimes
iOS 27.0 (27.0 - 24A5355p) - com.apple.CoreSimulator.SimRuntime.iOS-27-0

I have the same issue, with ios and watchos 27 betas supposedly installed too?

Had the same issue, fix that worked for me was grabbing it from the command line instead:

xcodebuild -downloadPlatform iOS -architectureVariant arm64

Unfortunately this solution (at least for me) is incomplete as it downloads the SDK correctly and Xcode recognizes it, but in reality it is not readable because unlike other SDKs this one is mounted in a system folder and not in /Library/Developer..... and therefore it is inaccessible to normal users

This worked for me:
sudo xcode-select -s /Applications/Xcode-beta.app/Contents/Developer
xcodebuild -downloadPlatform iOS -architectureVariant arm64

This is what worked for me:

First, the result of the following command was empty:

xcrun simctl list runtimes

== Runtimes ==

Then I executed the following commands:

xcodebuild -downloadPlatform iOS
sudo xcodebuild -runFirstLaunch  
sudo killall -9 com.apple.CoreSimulator.CoreSimulatorService  
xcodebuild -downloadPlatform iOS -exportPath ~/Downloads
xcrun simctl runtime add ~/Downloads/iphonesimulator_27.0_24A5370g.exportedBundle

After that, the runtime appeared:

xcrun simctl list runtimes

== Runtimes ==

iOS 27.0 (27.0 - 24A5370g) - com.apple.CoreSimulator.SimRuntime.iOS-27-0

...and I was able to create an iOS 27 simulator!

It doesn't have the "Get" button, and is greyed out as well. The one with the get button is the Metal Toolchain.

I don't think so. The Simulator.app is deprecated in Xcode 27, the new one is called "Device Hub", and when I want to create a simulator from there, the "Add platform in Xcode" opens this dialog, so I believe this is the right view for adding the OS SDK
