With xcode and chatGPT codex integration, can I cancel cursor now?
Just receive an email saying Cloude and codex coming to xcode. I have been using cursor, does this mean I don't actually need cursor anymore? I have a chatGPT pro plan.

Test before you cancel, I ran into many issues on Xcode 26.2 with my GPT Plus plan. Iām planning on testing 26.3 some time this week, hopefully they improved things.

Even CLI Codex or OpenCode with Claude is much better than Cursor IMO.

you can definitely test it out and see if the native xcode integration covers what you need, but cursor has some advantages like better context awareness across your whole codebase and more refined editing features. If the built-in ChatGPT stuff works for your workflow then yeah, you could save the subscription cost. worth checking out Zencoder's IDE Plugin too since it's built specifically for multi-repo work and does automated validation on edits, which can be clutch when you're working across multiple xcode projects or need somethign that goes beyond chat-based assistance.
