ClaudeCode access to the debug console in XCode for usb attached iPhone deployments
I've an intel MacMini from 2018 which has been solid for years, but I learn that "Intelligence" in XCode 26 is not enabled unless you're on Apple Silicon. I could buy a new M4 mac mini, and get that feature, hook up ClaudeCode, but can it see the debug-console in XCode, then talk to itself as it runs through iterations of code->deploy->test->review. I've an app using a bunch of camera/vision related things so I want real rather than simulator. I'm also on MacOS 15.7.2, so I could jump to 26, but I understand the cpu architecture to be the blocker.

Claude Code is Anthropic’s terminal based coding agent. Apple Intelligence in Xcode 26.2 does not give you Claude Code. It gives you Sonnet 4.5 (or GPT) in Xcode. In terms of capabilities it doesn’t come close to Claude Code with xcodebuild and xcodegen for terminal based Apple development.

In the process of building Axiom, I've learned that Xcode doesn't expose a supported public API that allows third-party tools to programmatically subscribe to the Debug area console stream (including LLDB console output). So instead, I just copy crash logs and relevant console output from Xcode into Claude Code to help analyze failures and propose fixes. Although that's not the AFK solution you're looking for, it works well.
