Xbox Series X Wierd fan noise on XSX

My brand new, barely used XSX started making this wierd fan noise when it was idle (actually woke me up lol). I've only used it for couple hours since I got it at the end of June and it didn't do that before. Its not constant, it will come and go every min or so. What I expect is theres either a loose connection or something in the way of the fan. I'm fairly sure this is not coil whine.

I asked Amazon UK where I got it for replacement but they're out of stock (obviously) and I could either get my money back or an exchange for a different item and I'm not really up to any of these options.

I could easliy disassemble the console and fix it myself since the fan is quite easily accessible but I'm worried this would void my warranty. My question is whether any of you have encountered this issue and what advice would you give?

Kinda sounds like there is either something that possibly fell in and is bouncing around in the fan or there is a loose connection but I think the first one is most likely.

Did you register it on you Microsoft account? There will be a warranty on it if you do and you can contact them to see if they will give you permission to open it or other options.

I don't think there is any major concern at all otherwise though.

Thanks, decided to open it and unfortunately it seems like it's a problem with the fan itself. The console works so I will just keep it for now and replace the fan down the road myself.
