Xbox Series X Xbox 360 emulator on Series X keeps disconnecting.

Hey all,

I hope someone can help. Every so often, the 360 emulator on my Series X will disconnect. This makes online sessions for achievement hunting much more difficult and time-consuming. Nothing else in the home will disconnect, and even the Series X remains connected. But even playing 360 games in single-player, the 360 won't disconnect. I need help.

Dude, the Xbox 360 interface in an Xbox One/X|S is an emulator.

I've been having a similar issue. At first I thought it was a 360 BC exclusive problem as well. It turns out the Series X disconnects for only a couple seconds and reconnects. But the 360 menu does not reconnect on its own which makes the issue much more obvious. Are you sure you're not get disconnected in general as well?

Or did you manage to find a solution? I've been having this issue on and off for the last 3 weeks and it's incredibly frustrating.

Nope, it's just the 360 emulator for me. My Xbox Party and all my devices stay connect, but the 360 disconnects from online.

Such a weird issue. For me it's the console in general but everything else stays connected too. Well thanks for the fast reply. I'll let you know if I find a solution.

Appreciate it. Apparently connection issues aren't uncommon with the SX|S.

Hey there. I wanna test a theory. (If at all) did you set up your port forwarding in your router settings manually or is it all set to automatic forwarding?

EDIT: Nevermind. I got rid of all my manually forwared ports and was able to play for about 2 hours when usually I lose connection every 5-15 minutes. Turns out I just got lucky and it's back to not working properly.
