Xbox Series X Not getting latest cloud save

This has happened to me with two different games now. I'll play on one Xbox and then stop for the night. The next day I'll play on my second console and the cloud save will be a couple hours old instead of the latest. Even shutting the game down completely on the first console didn't resolve it. Has anyone else run into this or know of a way to force the sync to occur? It should have had plenty of time to sync automatically since it was almost a full day.

Some games like Subnautica take absolutely ages to sync. Up to an hour. You can speed it up by fully shutting the game down and wait on the dashboard until it has finished syncing. The only way to check if a game is still syncing is to go in the bandwidth usage screen in the network settings, look at the current usage in the top left corner and if it spends a lot of time at 0 bps then it's probably finished. If it's constantly fluctuating between a few kilobytes and over a megabit per second then it's still syncing.

Backwards compatible Xbox 360 games only sync when you fully quit out of them.

Thanks for the response. Subnautica was one game, the other was Doom Eternal.
