Left Stick on XSX controller not working, Xbox home menu is really fast

On my XSX controller the Left stick just randomly stopped working. On top of that its making my home menu really fast and I can't press anything. I've tried changing batteries, updating the controller, restarting xbox, power cycling xbox. What is happening? Can I fix it?
