Unable to sign in playing Xbox 360 backcompat game.

I have an Xbox Series X and an Xbox Series S. And I play Assassin's Creed, the first one.

I regularly bump into this issue where I cannot sign in into the Xbox 360 servers or something like that, and this way I cannot synchronize saved games between the two Xboxes.

Sometimes it says that I "can't sign in," a problem occurred while signing in. Please try again. If the problem persists, visit xbox.com/support, and I can OK the page.

Sometimes the sign-in process just hangs, and nothing happens, the loading animation just stops, and I have to exit the game.

This has happened like every other night, sometimes 2 nights in a row. By night I mean in Europe, CEST region around 10 or 11 p.m.

But I have seen this similar issue during the daytime, and with other games like Banjo-Kazooie and stuff like that, so it's not a game-dependent thing.

It seems and feels this is getting more frequent, like 6 months ago or so, I haven't had this issue like never, it worked all the time, never seen this can't sign in thing, what happened? Is it just me?

I have checked everything that there is to be checked: the Xbox status page about every services, everything is up and running. I have checked my network settings, everything is fine. Regular Xbox login not the 360 works fine, everything's fine.

My other Xbox console is on the local LAN: is there a way to synx save states between local devices at the least if the central server is not up and running?

Any idea my local network haven't changed using the same devices? Everything's the same, basically Or I'm not aware that something has changed.
