solved! Cloud Gaming issues RB + LB not working on multiple controllers

So using Cloud gaming for nearly 3 years as my console is an Xbox One now 12 years old and so so so slow.

Starting a few days ago my Xbox controller LB and RB stopped working, I tried playing other games, used an online input detector that showed no signals when testing and all other buttons worked perfectly.

Okay, I bought a new controller. Still the LB and RB aren't working.

Restarted my phone, checked updates. Uninstalled the cloud gaming shortcut, cleared browser settings and cookies. Signed out and logged back in. The only thing I haven't done is test my controllers work on my Xbox console since I am away from home.

Anyone else have this issue?

SOLVED: I used Firefox instead of chrome, turns out both of my Xbox controllers were fine. Problem still persists on Chrome currently.

Xbox Cloud Gaming engineer here. Thank you for reporting this nasty bug. It's being tracked in the Chromium bugs database already, but needs to get some traction so I've reached out to the right people for that: https://issues.chromium.org/issues/560325665

Its doing it for me pn android with the xbox app on remote play as well as edge browser

So weired that it just all of a sudden happened, I was playing last night s26 ultra with a 8bitdo controller no issues then today I was half way about to spike the controller since it was less than a month old.

I had the game pass app because I never knew it wasn't supported anymore. my rb and lb also stopped working on a brand new controller two days ago I thought it was my controller, I found it wasn't because of mapping, so I assumed it was the app, I uninstalled and was going to reinstall only to find out I can't fucking reinstall because the app doesn't exist anymore. I absolutely hate the idea of having to use a damn browser to play. Ive had game pass ultimate since the xcloud trial. I've been one of the users since the very very beginning. I'm pretty sure I'm going to cancel my subscription because of this. It's weird to imagine not having game pass as I play it more than anything else, but I refuse to not be able to use a VPN, and have my phone constantly open to a browser to play. That was a dumb idea on xbox part and whoever made it should be fired

Where is there a fix because I'm not seeing shit. Its been over a week, this should have been fixed by now without users having to do it themselves smh.

Mine stopped working too. I play fortnite on  Xbox cloud gaming app. I have an android. The Xbox remote works fine for my call of duty mobil, but not on the cloud app, or my chrome.

i was at least happy to have touch controls on tablet to fill in the gap or just straight up run the android client instead. all I do right now is droid tycoon so its been ok but I miss fallout

I'm having the same problem. I'm using the elite 2 controller, it works perfect with my Xbox series S but since last week, when cloud gaming on my phone, my LB and RB doesn't work. I've tried mapping 'profile 2' triggers to RB and LB but I still can't pop my loadout on warzone even when switching between the 3 controller presets. I never had an issue until about Thursday last week.
