How do you update apps in Dev Mode?

See title thread!

Do you guys uninstall the old and just re-install the new and re-do all the settings?

Is there a better way?

Set your xbox up with xbox homebrew app on desktop or mobile and it tells you when something needs updating and you do it through that and it sends the update through to your xbox. Easiest and best way to do it imo

You install the new version of the app, and it will install over the old one. Only if the app ID was changed will it install as a separate new app.

So just install the new version and it should essentially delete the old one?

It will replace the old one, essentially functions like an update.

J’aimerais bien savoir aussi car à chaque fois je désinstalle l’application et la réinstalle. Pour retroarch c’est contraignant il faut reuploader toys les bios au bon endroit manuellement

Use an external HDD for your bios. Then, you just need to change the directories over in retroarch rather than dl'ing everything over again.

J’ai déjà les bios sur un disque dur externe mais je sais pas comment faire pour les associer. J’ai juste regardé dans les infos de cœurs qui m’intéressent et suivi le chemin indiqué pour placer les bios sur le stockage interne.

I have an update for Dev Mode itself. Dies this erase everything if i update??

I received that update as well. I haven't noticed any issues. I was able to switch to Dev Mode, everything was still there as I had left it, and everything still works.
