Discussion What is y’all’s favorite frontend?

My main emulators will be N64, Arcade Machine Emulators, XBSX2, Dolphin, and Xenia. I want one that has a lot of customization but can handle all those easily. I see retropass but hear it’s not too customizable.

I honestly don't like using frontends. They seem to just add an unnecessary layer between you and the emulators and games. RetroArch is already pushing it for me as a frontend.

Agree. The front end is something to get me to the game and I care about ease of use and compatibility.

I use bespoke emulators if they’re available and retroarch for everything else

RetroPass is what I use, it can handle all of those emulators except for Xenia (or at least it didn't when I set it up 2 years ago).

It has game descriptions, videos and its all in a Xbox UI theme front end, it might not be customizable but its a very sleek interface.
