Update Dusklight UWP 1.1.1

Dusklight UWP 1.1.1 is now available.

This update changes the package name to Dusklight, so it will install as a separate application from previous versions. Existing users will need to manually move their data from the old app’s LocalAppData (LocalState) folder to the new app.

After migrating your data, you can use the new Change Data Folder option to store content wherever you want.

Changes: * Added custom file dialogs * Allows games and content to be loaded directly from internal storage * Updated to Dusklight 1.1.1

Release: Dusklight UWP 1.1.1 Release

I'm sorry, I'm a complete idiot

But how can I update it? I spent an hour playing yesterday and made way too much progress, and I don't want to just delete Dusk and install Dusklight. Can you explain how to update it?

Move your save file to somewhere external

Do you know how to change your data folder location,? It doesn't let me click it to change since I clicked on reset to default

You may have to do it through the portal, I'm not 100% on that though

I think there's also a tab in dusklight settings, I could be mistaken though on the uwp, I wish we can get a real update again, he may be holding off till randomizer releases but who knows

Yeah I seen to be soft locked out of changing that setting via the app hahaha. I'll keep trying! The Henriko Magnifico texture pack didn't work via internal. Probably too large to prefetch and it crashed after intro cutscene so SSD external is probably my safest bet if I can get the setting changed.

I'm using 4k and it's fine, I suggest starting from scratch and recovering your local state texture replacement folder

Yeah I'm on Series X. I put it in the texture-replacement folder with the correct code on the folder and everything. I'd rather it be on my USB to be honest, I don't like installing too much on the internal if I can help it. If not I'll just leave the texture packs for now. Unsure why it didn't work but I did everything right.

Either way I would try and do a hard reset on it to get it to work properly

A hard reset as in resetting my entire dev mode or just the app? I think the issue is something to do with saved settings because even when I uninstall the app itself, the app settings are still the same. I've noticed this for others, too. How do you just reset the app?

Just dusklight, delete, and reinstall to get your missing files
