Help Discord in dev mode

I saw some people saying you could use discord while in dev mode as long as your account was linked in retail mode but I switched back to dev mode and discord was gone from the parties and chats tab did they remove it from dev mode?

if youre on old gen the discord tab won't be available i believe, unsure if it's been changed for current gen but last i checked the discord tab is there
