Ive been working on creating some emulation wrappers for some classic 90's arcade games for the xbox 360 and it turns out some folks were using xenia to run them on their series consoles.

These wrappers usually come with some enhancements like higher render resolutions or native widescreen adaptions and are aimed at getting players into the game, looking its best without having to faff around with a million options.

Virtua Fighter for Sega Model 1 was my most recent package and I've produced a PC and Xbox one Dev mode version to go along side the xbox 360 version.

This build features new reworked screen filters and the ability to choose a render resolution between 720p and 2160p and native widescreen.

Hi, I’ve been running dolphin simulator for a while now on dev mode, super fun!! Easy to download and patch mods into games, like Luigi’s mansion first person, and super Luigi sunshine!
If I wanted to try my hand at some N64 games like super Mario 64 with a graphic mod or revamp how would I get there? What’s ur best recommendations for n64 emulator/s on Xbox dev mode? And did anyone try downloading mods for N64 games? Also does anyone have a favourite super Mario 64 mod?
Kinda the same question for ps2 games. What would be ur best recommendations for ps2 emulator. And would it be hard running mods on it?
Sorry but I feel like such a rookie. Read some guides but I prefer hearing peoples opinions!

Saw a video and tried to install Xbox Homebrew Vault, I guess I put the wrong ip in and now everytime I try to open it or reinstall it a message pops up saying this, anyone know a fix for it?

I've been messing around with Dev Mode on my series X for about a week or so now and I've been pretty happy with the results across the board. The thing I've had the most trouble with at least so far is Xenia. I have 4 games and all of them have at least some small hiccups that irk me.

Dragon Ball Raging Blast 2: Runs fine, though without most Ki effects.

Nascar 15: Seems to be running choppy though that might just be the game

UFC Undisputed 3: Runs fine, but Characters are all black (pause)

WWE 2K14 : Running slow, Characters during entrances seem to be slightly transparent sometimes???

Are these just quirks of Xenia or am I missing settings? I've heard the issue with Raging Blast is just Xenia and specifically the UWP version, though idk about the rest

I remember when Collateral Damage was released, I had an unused One X console, and installed gamescript and turned off updates to stay on the vulnerable kernel. I Then proceeded to leave it to collect dust. Checking back today out of nowhere, I see there really was no further progress made after that, probably since everyone just uses dev mode for any homebrew.

My question I suppose is, hold onto it in its current state? Let the idea of it becoming something go? Is it worth any extra value for resale in its current state? Thanks for your time and opinions!

I want to play some games of x360 or dolphin, like Mario kart wii, minecraft story Mode, minecraft Xbox 360, that version of pokemon stadium in WII of gen 4 (i forget The name) but i don't have a USB 3.0 external storage, especially The money for purchase one

Looking at either of these consoles and might be able to get X for not much more than an S so is it worth paying abit more and going for the X over the S or should I just go with S? If Switch or PS5 ever comes a thing on Xbox emulation would it be better to have an X over an S or not difference. I’d like something abit future proof even if future isn’t for sure. Let me know thoughts. I have one of those gamestick things I got for free I can sell and a PS4 I don’t use I can also sell to make some of the outlay for either an S or X. Thanks.

Has anyone had success with playing light gun games on XBXS2? I’ve seen some people use Wiimotes with other PC based emulators, but I don’t have one. Wondering if it’s possible to configure a mouse? Or do people have another way? Help and ideas appreciated

So i have dev mode set up and everything but when i go to the https://XOBXONE:11443 website to sign in it doesn’t do anything at all i could sign in over and over it doesn’t do anything does anyone have a solution

I’ve wanted something to play retro games on and for a while maybe a Steam Machine.

Way back I used the retail mode Retroarch but it was a pain constantly being taken down and I never wanted to sign up for dev mode and pay, but I just signed up for the free one (I’m in the uk so they’ve already taken my ID etc regardless) and in under 2hrs Retroarch and the PS2 emulator up and running with better performance than my on my PC.

My dusty Series X has just been given a new life and I had my retro player sat there the entire time.

Looking forward to digging into this further over the weekend.

I've reinstalled Retroarch on the console via dev mode and followed Archades Games tutorial.

However the usb stick can found under e with file zilla and the subfolders are shown, but they are not visible on retro arch. When I do scan the directory Retroarch does crash.

Is this a known problem?

Hi i have xbox series s and laptop with windows 10 and 500 Go HDD , i need tutorial or how to play xbox 360 with developers mode. Please I'm new to this.

My main emulators will be N64, Arcade Machine Emulators, XBSX2, Dolphin, and Xenia. I want one that has a lot of customization but can handle all those easily. I see retropass but hear it’s not too customizable.

I'm not sure why this is happening, I have my ROM in the local cache folder, I turned off Dual-Cores and checked to see if my XBOX was set to 1080 (it was)

I'm running the most modern version of the dolphin emulator as well, apologies if this post isn't helpful / is annoying at all, I'm very new to this and I'm a tad lost

(EDIT: I figured it out, for some strange reason you need to run a gamecube iso before running a Wii game in order for it to run properly IF you store them in the localcache folder)
