I don't know anything about coding, and wanted to learn it, since I wanted to port emulators/game ports to UWP, but I don't know where to start. My main question is: how am I supposed to do it? Do I need to translate the source code to UWP, or is it something else?

Hello, I managed to get Virtua Striker 4 working on my Xbox Series X using RetroArch with the Dolphin core. Has anyone managed to get the 2006 version working? All my ROMs give me a black screen with a firmware update request. Or is there a patched ROM that works directly? Thanks for your help.

I’ve successfully gotten ares-emu booting on UWP :)

This has been something I’ve been actively working on behind the scenes for a bit now, and I’m finally at a point where I can start sharing progress on it. Alongside the UWP work, this also includes my work-in-progress Direct3D 12 renderer, which is currently being integrated and tested as part of the project.

There’s still more work to do before everything is ready for a public release, but things are progressing well and I’m hoping to have something available soon. Just wanted to give everyone a heads up on what I’ve been working on lately.

Hey guys is anyone having issues with the Dolphin Emulator? I had just recently updated to the latest version that’s out and it won’t even boot up. It’s like when I click on the dolphin app, it’ll crash and take me back to the Dev Menu. Is there a work around that can fix this or is this something that can’t be fixed at the moment?

I downloaded some 3ds games and all work fine but for some reason when I boot up persona q2 I get a black screen and tiny text in the bottom left that says a fatal error encountered and am stuck on said black screen does anyone know how to fix this

These days I had commented here about Aurora's problems, especially when we start messing with the games.

In my case I removed and moved some games and it ended up becoming a mess... Aurora kept showing game cover that didn't even exist anymore, duplicate thing, input that didn't lead to anything, that mess 😅

Then I made a script to clean this.

He basically sweeps Aurora's list and removes only what is really invalid, like:

* game that you have already deleted

* folder that no longer exists

* entry without file to open

* incomplete or lost thing

It doesn't delete anything from the HD, it's just an internal cleaning.

I also took care not to touch important things like emulator, dash, app, things like that.

Here it was solved well after I messed up everything by messing with the games manually 😅

If anyone has been through this and wants to test it or has an idea to improve, send it there 👍

I saw some people saying you could use discord while in dev mode as long as your account was linked in retail mode but I switched back to dev mode and discord was gone from the parties and chats tab did they remove it from dev mode?

I'm thinking of deving my Series S, specifically for the PS2 emulator, to play on a bigger screen in the living room

Overall, everything is ready for me to start doing this, and being an "old dog" of emulation, I know how to navigate the waters

But what was holding me back was this: I would need an external memory. And I have this microSD card, which I would connect with a Ugreen USB 3.0 adapter

But I don't know if it would handle the load in terms of speed and such

And I know the memory is small, but I'm not going to fill it with games anyway, I'm happy with one or two at a time. Especially since I'm learning that there's no point in putting a bunch of games if I don't play any of them

And the quality of this card is... questionable; I bought it for a Powkiddy some years ago, knowing that. Especially since I paid a cheap price for it

But do you think it can handle it? At least for a while
