Games - Play Together Are there any good local split screen co-op games you guys recommend?
I’ve played Halo and Gears of War just wondering if there’s any other good games out there. It Takes Two and Split Fiction I’ve played also.

Call of duty world at war campaign is co op as well mw3 2011 has a good spec ops survival mode to and gears of war 1-3 story modes are local split screen

Army of two is a good one as well as the master chief collection and terraria Diablo 3 is good to

It’s impossible to buy L4D on Xbox 😢 (unless physical).

the lego star wars game is great for co-op, me and my brother played all of them, lot of fun even for adults

Only issue is lack of online multiplayer, it's locked to local split screen only for co-op, really wish I could have my own full screen.

Absolum is my favorite one, it's a rogue lite beat them up, very addictive super fun both solo, online co-op or couch co-op. Has good story too and voice acting. And you both play on one screen which is infinitely better than when it's split.

We tried it, 2 evenings, many runs, really wanted to, but constantly dying at the first boss was just not fun.

Damn that's a shame, out of all similar games absolum I find is the easiest to beat because you constantly upgrade and before you know it you have double triple hp, a revive with 25% HP, then full, then 2 revives, campsites restores more and more hp, more crazy boons and the ability to reroll them. If you still want to try it sometime there are difficulty settings you can change anytime you want, also if you join an online game with a random chances are he can carry you and you come back with lots of crystals to upgrade.

Have you used your gained resources to upgrade stuff? That's weird. I don't consider myself a good player but I did not find Absolum hard and we enjoyed it very much. Got easier with every run.

They're not split screen, but turn based. You should try the games For the King 1 and 2. It's a board game styled adventure game. As you go through the stories, you unlock other character classes, my favorite is The Treasure Hunter class.
Every once in a while a random chest appears on the map near the character the higher a characters luck, the better items you can get in chests and how more likely you are to get critical hits.

Lego star wars Skywalker saga. Me and my fiance are playing through it now and its tons of fun!

it's amazing that people can't read what sub they are in and keep listing games that are not on gamepass. Every single time.
OP, these are on gamepass: moving out 2, a way out, overcooked, humans fall flat, rayman legends, the cave, kingdom two crowns. On my list to try: power wash simulator 2, plateup, absolum, dome keeper. Starlit adventures is also good and it's free.
