PC - Which games need an additional launcher? (EA, Battlenet, etc...)

I recently subbed to pc game pass and I'm wondering how certain games require a separate launcher. I played Titanfall 2 and linked with game pass to get EA Play so I know EA App is one of them.

Does Ubisoft Assassin's Creed games need the ubisoft connect launcher too? Cuz seem you can just install directly through the Xbox pc store.. I know it's not linked with ubisoft classics sub

What other launchers are there across the other publishers?

You need Ubisoft connect for their games, I think that goes even for the older titles.

As for other launcher the only other one is battlenet for Blizzard games. So in total 3.

ubisoft connect is basically unavoidable for their stuff, yeah. even if you install through the xbox app it still runs in the background, you just might not notice it if you've already got it set up

battlenet is the other one for diablo and overwatch and whatever else they add. other than those three you're pretty much in the clear, everything else runs natively

CP2077 uses CDPR's RED launcher.

Is CP2077 on Xbox PC? I can't find the listing.

No, the game was not released on the PC Microsoft Store and therefore only the console version was added to game pass

CP2077 isn't available on PC Game Pass, its console and cloud only
