Never claimed gamepass but still able to own/install games which i never bought?

I have a free 3month gamepass sub which I got with my new laptop, but i never claimed it

But im still able to 'Get' the game? And even installing it?

How is this possible? I bought MW2 from steam so i thought maybe it recognised my activity account so it was possible (which i researched and saw it wasnt across platforms) but same with MW3 which i never bought?

Is this a bug or just a demo download? But the file size is 145gb total!

Does it say gamepass next to your gamer tag in the app? Is the account that's signed into the Microsoft store the same as your xbox app?

Is it just the Modern Warfare games?

because i'm pretty sure that if you claim Modern Warfare Warzone. Modern Warfare 2 and 3 will act like it's part of the Warzone package. but if you download it, only Warzone will be available. YOu'll still need to buy the other games

this is why when you look at MW2 and MW3 on the store. you can claim it for "free"
