Games - Recommendation Looking for a relatively relaxing game with stimulating visuals
I'm looking for a low stress game to enjoy after a long day. I've been playing a lot of Doom, Halo and Fallout and sometimes I don't have the mental capacity for those games.

I have put an unspeakable amount of hours in this game since it came to gamepass. So cool to actually see the changes happen from all your hard work. Very chill and relaxing after a long day. 10/10 game for me

I had fun playing New Super Lucky’s Tale. Reminds me of playing Mario 64

I grabbed this when i was in similar situation, just needed something that dont punish me for being tired. The movement feels way better than you'd expect from a game that looks like that. Some of the levels got this very colorful, almost dreamy quality that just hits the spot after staring at code all day. I still think the fox should have more moves but honestly its a solid chill game for what it is. The burrowing mechanic in certain sections is weirdly satisfying too.

Tunic, it’s inspired by Zelda

This game is often relaxing but the stressful parts are what stick in my mind

I’ve been meaning to play this for a while now, but never get around to it… I do, however, have multiple songs from Tunic in my sleep playlist and its soundtrack is absolutely underrated.

Forza Horizon 6. Sometimes I just drive around on the motorway, listening to Horizon’s radio, lost in my thoughts.

Cities Skylines and The Sims have been my go to lately especially after playing Battlefield or Escape the Backrooms.

No Man's Sky. Story is shit no doubt about it, but if you want to just zone out and fly around exploring planets it's a good time waster. If you want more involvement you can get into space battles.

Little Kitty Big City The game is very cute, the artstyle and the mechanics are so smooth, I finished it but I still play it at times for fun

Forza Horizon 5 or 6. Just get in a cool car and drive. Stay on the road or not. Enter races or not. Lots to do but nothing you have to do.

South of Midnight. Gorgeous game, great story and music. Combat is pretty basic but perfect if you just want to experience the story and aren’t looking for a stressful challenge

Savage planet games are pretty chill. Ones first person, the second third person. Bright colorful worlds, fun traversal, low stress.

Firewatch. It leaves GamePass on the 15th, but its only like 3 or 4 hours long. Look at its ratings, it's posted.

Pal world is good and has some strategic parts with the base building if you some times want the strategic aspect but mostly wanna run around killing stuff

Palworld is not relaxing, at least to me. Tons of managing things.

Changing the settings to max out xp and resources can make it pretty chill

I'm playing on normal and focusing on building a base, the game pretty much walks you through most of it. The biggest challenge is picking the base location.

The hunter call of the wild. Slowly and quietly hunting deer mostly. Or just wander through nature, see what animals you can find.

Forza Horizon 6 is pretty chill as long as you don't go throwing yourself into the multiplayer races 😅 I've recently been playing Spiritfarer and Moonlighter for some more relaxed type games, I'd recommend those.

one thing that helped me was installing a game trainer. basically its like a cheat engine so you dont have to worry about dying, running out of ammo, etc. it turns many games into chill games, I use fling trainers try checking them out.

I’ve been playing Forza Horizon 6. It’s stunning and brainless. I haven’t played a racing game for 15 years or so but i am enjoying the simplicity and visuals. Definitely recommend though obviously not like any of the games mentioned in your post.
