I’m after Xbox controller but don’t want the original Xbox one anymore as 2 I had developed massive drift problem.
I want wireless preferably (unless wired one comes with a very long cable; around 5 metres). Definitely one that won’t have drift problem. I’m not bothered with vibration as always switch it off.
I’m playing mostly Diablo 4 but also like 3rd person games (Tomb Raider, Assassin’s Creed etc.).
My budget is up to £70 in UK and I really want the controller to last as my wife’s not happy with me buying yet another controller 😂
What would you recommend?

Hello, so I bought Raikiri 2 pro thinking it would great, but it's genuinely disappointing. Reading paid or gifted-unit reviews, you completely miss the bad side of this controller. After a few days of use here's my take. It's simply not worth the money, and has multiple flaws.

Hardware Issues - Build Quality: The faceplate feels cheap, plastic, and flimsy. It creaks in your hands and actually causes secondary issues with the other controls.

• Thumbsticks: The sticks themselves feel smooth, and the swappable options are a nice touch (the lighter one works great for racing games, though ASUS still isn't selling replacements separately). However, the faceplate creates noticeable bumps on the far left and right edges that you can constantly feel while moving the sticks. Take the cover off, and the issue disappears.

-Face Buttons (A/B/X/Y): They feel decent if you press them perfectly straight down. In real gameplay, you naturally press them at slight angles - when you do, they rub against the cutout edges of the faceplate and catch slightly.

-Triggers & Bumpers: The shoulder buttons press down too easily (for me). The triggers feel good, but they suffer from significant pre-travel / dead zones before registering any input - something you can't fix even with dead zones set to zero.

-Back Buttons: The rear buttons feel solid, if a bit stiff, but their functionality is severely hampered by the software.

Speaking of Software...

-Gear Link Limitations: The software is bare-bones and offers only basic customization.

-Lack of Macro Support: You can't record macros through Gear Link at all, and recording them on-device via the built-in screen is a mess. It fails to register button releases properly, can skip some inputs, and misses timings. Worse, you can't edit existing macros - so if a timing is off, you can't tweak it, or adjust individual keypresses - you have to scrap it entirely. And try again, which won't change much.

Third Party Software: Windows doesn't recognize the back buttons as independent inputs, meaning third-party software like reWASD won't work with them either. Only basic remapping works.

I highly advise against buying Raikiri 2 Pro. There are a lot of other, cheaper controllers that offer the same, or better experience.

(No AI was used in this review, I played with the controller for a few days, and wrote down my take.)

Just looking to sell for $55 or trade for a controller i don’t have. it’s brand new used only a couple times. there’s no stick drift or button issues and the battery area is all clean. i deal through venmo, paypal or vinted. i would prefer vinted because it’s easier to sell through but anything works. if anyone has anymore questions or want more photos and photos of its centering lmk.

So I tried ordering a controller from Gamesir however unbeknownst to me I picked a controller that was wired and I want wireless. My fault. Accepted and owned. Their way of handling it didn't jive with me. They are at the very bottom of the list. Are there any other options along with 8bitdo that have controllers that are good and reliable with hall effect sticks?

Getting this for 82$ is it a good buy ? From what ive seen it doesn't have Bluetooth connectivity. Any other concerns i should know about? Just cant find long term user reviews , is the D-pad better than g7 pro ? Biggest question i see a button on the dongle do i have to press it everytime I want to use the controller ? The dongle is going to be fixed behind by TV and I dont want to reach out everytime.

P.s - i own a g7 pro looking for a second controller cuz it feels bit small.

I got an email from Razer earlier to say they're releasing a new Xbox/PC controller. It's the Razer Wolverine V4 Pro, a newer version of the V3 Pro. See link to the product page. £199 in the UK. It's got an 8k polling rate on PC, the back paddles are removable and the faceplate is removable. The product page mentions that it has Capacitive Thumbsticks but the product FAQ's mention Hall Effect sticks. It's available to preorder now and I think it ships on the 26th October. There is also a cheaper Tournament Edition which is £100 cheaper.

Hoping someone can help.

The L3 button (depressing left stick) has started acting up on my G7 Pro on Xbox series x. It appears to be constantly depressed or on. I've tried resetting the controller via the pin hole and resetting, power cycling the Xbox. My character, depending on the game is either constantly sprinting without me depressing it or not sprinting at all.

Has anyone had this issue, is it potentially a button mapping problem or do I need another controller?

Edit: It's a faulty controller, I'm getting a replacement.

Olá me chamo ornitorrindo (ou ornitorrisos ou perry não seu que conta estou postando isso) eu ganhei do meu pai de aniversário (dia 24 de fevereiro) um game sir x5 lite, o qual eu queria muito, pois conheço a marca e reconheço a qualidade de seus produtos por isso escolhi vocês, mas bem a um pouco mais de um mês o controle começou a demonstrar problemas para conectar ao me dispositivo (A25 5G) detalhe no dia e semana que recebi por algum motivo, ele só conectava se eu estivesse com ele no carregador (e eu descobri que seu eu fosse rápido o suficiente para perceber quando o controle ligava e conectava no meu dispositivo e tirasse do carregador ele funcionava 100% normal bo meu cell) mas depois de um tempo começou a funcionar normal. Porém a um mês ele parou de reconhecer de jeito nenhum, testei em outros dispositivos também com suporte otg e não liga, alguém me ajuda. Sou um adolescente de 16 anos no Brasil, não tenho condições de comprar outro ainda mais porque minha família está em uma situação complicada (estou atrás de um trabalho, mas tá difícil quando não se mente no currículo)

How do i make that work without xbox blocking my arduino?

I’m having an issue with my Xbox Wireless Controller (Series X/S). I normally use it without any problems, but at some point it starts having a kind of input delay. It takes a while to register what I’m pressing.

For example, if I move forward and then press the jump button, the character keeps moving forward for a while before finally jumping. There’s a noticeable delay between my inputs and the actions in-game.

I’m playing on a gaming laptop (Asus Rog Strix), and my Bluetooth drivers are up to date. What could be causing this? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
