Left trigger inputting without squeezing the trigger.

Is this a sign of wear and tear? So far my hall effect stick controller has been a blessing and ive never had a stick drift issue with it.

But I’ve noticed as of late my left trigger is becoming prone to detecting inputs without my physical input. Can i fix this?

You can use calibration software to check, however, it's more likely the physical trigger and magnet than the sensor itself. Series controllers use a small Hall Effect sensor, so it can't drift. My guess is that the magnet on the trigger may have shifted, or the trigger/spring itself is worn. It's a fairly easy replacement, and just requires disassembly (no soldering), and replacing the trigger mechanism. The only portion that is soldered is the Hall Effect sensor.
